ATBC is compatible with polyvinyl butyra, partly compatible with cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate. The cold resistance and light resistance are similar to those of trinbutyl citrate.

Its water resistance is better. Nontoxic, LD50=4000mg/kg.

Application : DOA – is a typical freeze-resisting plasticizer used in PVC, chlorethlene polymer, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber, for high in plasticizing efficiency, low in color changing property after heating, capable of making products soft in low temperature and light-resisting. When processed, DOA shows fine smoothness and the products are pleasant to touch. DOA can be used together with DOP and DBP in cold-resisting agricultural plastic film, freezing food, packing film, cable, electric wire, imitation paper, planet, outdoor water pipe. While DOA is used in, initial viscosity is low and stable.

However, DOA should be used with care for it has high volatility, and is poor in water-proof, migratory aptitude property and electric insulating property.
